SHINE: Reclaiming Your Light in a World That Keeps Dimming It
Part 1 of the S.H.E. Series: Shine. Heal. Evolve.
Let’s talk about shine.
Not the filtered, fake-it-till-you-make-it kind of shine. I’m talking about your real light. The kind that’s been buried under burnout, people-pleasing, caregiving, and survival mode for...how long now?
We all have a light. A natural essence. It’s not something you “earn” by doing enough yoga or green smoothies or vision boards. You were born with it. You just forgot how damn radiant you are.
So what does it mean to SHINE in the S.H.E. framework?
It means remembering.
It means recharging your energy—body, mind, and spirit.
It means giving yourself permission to take up space, speak up, and live in alignment with what lights you up.
This is the first phase in my coaching work for a reason. Because you can’t heal what you’ve abandoned. And you can’t evolve from a place of emptiness.
We begin with the glow.
On the mat, SHINE looks like:
Showing up for your practice—even if it’s just child’s pose and breath.
Moving with intention, not perfection.
Noticing how your body feels, without judgment.
Off the mat, SHINE looks like:
Reclaiming time for what energizes you (and yes, that includes dancing in your kitchen).
Saying no without guilt.
Nourishing your nervous system with rest, nature, connection, and joy.
Wearing the dang bright lipstick or the sparkly earrings—just because.
It’s a powerful act of rebellion to SHINE in a world that profits off your insecurity and exhaustion.
And no, your shine isn't selfish. It's necessary. When you glow, you give others permission to do the same. You walk into a room and raise the vibe just by being lit from within.

Try this simple practice:
Every morning, ask yourself:
"What would support my energy today?"
Not just physically—but emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
Then actually do one thing on that list.
✨ Take the nap.
✨ Drink the water with the lemon oil.
✨ Dance like you mean it.
✨ Roll out your mat and move like you love yourself.
That’s how the light comes back—one conscious choice at a time.
